Payment Online is a VISA CISP compliant member. All credit card information at Payment Online are kept encrypted. There are two digital certificates used each with two private and public keys. There is an SSL Server with Certificate Authority Digital Certificates that ensure the connection between your site and your customer is secure and data is trasmitted in encrypted format.

Also, for extra security and at no cost to you, there a a digital certificate used for your connection to the membership database to access the credit card information using the same technology that is used in nuclear bunkers. Internet Merchant Account (2.1% in most cases)

Payment Online offers no-hassle merchant accounts through its 7 merchant account providers. The VISA/Mastercard rate varies from 2.1%-2.3%. Additional fees may apply. Your Internet Merchant Account program will provide details of any additional fees, if it applies.

Other card types (American Express, Discover, Diners Card, etc.) have reasonable rates as well.

A "per-transaction" fee may also apply. Transaction fees can vary depending on product type
(e.g. downloadable software, membership, donation, etc.), but most often, transaction fees are 25 cents per transaction.

Many ecommerce service providers charge between 1.5%-15% of your sales revenue, additionally. However, Payment Online DOES NOT charge a "percentage" of your revenue.

If you already have a merchant account, Payment Online would we happy to integrate your exiting Internet Merchant Account into your ecommerce solution. There is no additional fee for this, however, your Internet merchant account has to adhere to strick security and transaction processing regulations (which most do indeed). Web-based Admin Interface

Easy-to-use online management tools will provide viewing of your incoming transactions, viewing/printing/importing/exporting your customer database, modifying customer information, and tracking all the transactions and customer history.

We've made it as easy as possible for you, including one-button-click issuing of credits (when necessary), and producing reports daily, weekly, monthly, per customer, per e-mail, and much, much, more.

In addition, you also have access to an online virtual terminal for manual processing of telephone/mail orders. All of this is done right over the Internet through your secure access to your Admin area. No software to download or install on your PC. You can manage your eBusiness from anywhere in the world.
