How easy is it to integrate your solution into my website?
Integrating Payment Online's eComSubscription
into your website is as easy as going to an Administrative Interface
(which you can do on the Internet) and creating a subscription product
in the Catalog Manager tool, and requesting a hyperlink (URL) to
be built. Then the Administrative Interface will create a hyperlink
that you can copy and paste onto page(s) in your website. The whole
process takes about 30 seconds usually. This is described in more
detail (with screen shots) in our Product Guides, which you can
download by clicking on Product
Guides .
2. How do my online customers get
access to the members' area?
After your customer's order is processed successfully, an authorization
response is sent in real-time to your customer with a confirmation
of sale - emailed to you and to your new customer. Your customers
can then select (or be assigned) with a UserID
and a Password for
future access to the protected content area (secured URL on your
site). At the same time, the details of your customer's credit card
information is stored in encrypted format for future processing
for the recurring billing.
3. Can I have multiple Stores selling
different product types with my ecommerce?
Yes. Absolutely.
4. Do your solutions allow multiple
product types to be sold, for instance, can I sell shippable products
and software downloads to my subscription customers?
Yes. Absolutely. You can integrate multiple product types with
your ecommerce. The monthly fee would still be the same. We can
also integrate two or more solutions for you to facilitate multiple
product types (e.g. subscription, digital download, shippable goods,
services, and others) and you can manage all in one Web-based Admin
Interface.
5. Where do I host the Subscription
software?
You do not need to host the Subscription Software, or install it
or manage it, or secure it. Payment Online does that for you. You
do not need to pay for hosting, or servers, or bandwidth, or a technical
staff to manage networking of technical servers. In addition, you
do not need to upgrade or manage the Subscription Application Platform.
It is all done for you in our ecommerce solutions.
6. How easy is it to set the recurring
billing?
In the Administrative Interface, you have a list of 7 parameters
that you choose from. Together these allow you to select the recurring
billing method of your choice. You can offer a daily, weekly, biweekly,
monthly, quarterly, annual, or an ad-hoc periodic recurring billing
subscription. You can also offer a free period of subscription service
(e.g. one-month free or three-month free, etc.) and then the recurring
re-starts. The initial fee can be different than the recurring billing,
(i.e. you can charge $50 one time, and $29 each month). All of this
is automated and therefore you do not need to re-process every order/transaction
by re-entering the credit card and customer information.
7. Can I process a credit card without
charging it, in your ecommerce system?
Yes. If you wish to run a credit card for AUTHorization but do
not wish to charge any funds until a future date, our system will
certainly allow you to do so. This feature is common with online
businesses that wish to provide a free trial period (e.g. 30 days
free). Our system will also allow you to set any date range for
the free period, from 1 day to unlimited.
8. How secure is the credit card
information held?
Payment Online is a VISA CISP compliant member. All credit card
information at Payment Online are kept encrypted. There are two
digital certificates used each with two private and public keys.
There is an SSL Server with Certificate Authority Digital Certificates
that ensure the connection between your site and your customer is
secure and data is trasmitted in encrypted format. Also, for extra
security, there a a digital certificate used for your connection
to the subscription database to access the credit card information
using the same technology that is used in nuclear bunkers. Even
the administrative and technical support departments at Payment
Online cannot see the encrypted credit card information inside our
company. All of this is in addition to credit card processing security
measures such as audit trail, AVS, CVV2, SECmonitor, and more.
